Instructions
Bring a pot of water to a boil, add a package of ramen noodles. Discard the ramen seasoning.
Cook as per package instructions. I used maruchan ramen noodles which took me 3 minutes.
In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar & water. Set aside.
Heat olive oil in a pan, add garlic, the white part of the green onion, red chili flakes and saute them for a minute or until golden brown.
Then, add the soy sauce mixture. Cook on medium flame for 2 minutes or until the sauce is reduced.
Combine the cooked ramen noodles with the sauce and simmer for 2 minutes so the noodles are perfectly coated with the sauce.
Garnish with chopped green part of the green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes
Adjust the heat as per your taste by changing the amount of red chili flakes used. 1.5 tablespoons of red chili is the perfect amount of spice kick while 2 tablespoons is super spicy for me.
You may want to adjust the amount of brown sugar if you're altering the amount of red chili flakes. The lesser red chili flakes you use, the lesser the brown sugar. If you don't like it too sweet, just use 1/2 teaspoon of brown sugar instead.
Do not overcook the noodles because we will cook them with the sauce too and don't want a mushy mess.
