No bake desserts are always a joy to make and eat because they are easy to make and hassle free. So, here I am with another no bake dessert, this time, taking only 5 ingredients which are easily available and making a very simple dessert which tastes incredible.
This is dessert is a mix of coarse and smooth textures. The coarse crust and the smooth, rich whipped cream layer. It tastes amazing. If you try this out, send me pictures on my facebook page or Instagram. Let’s start with the recipe!
Ingredients:
- Oreo cookies- 15
- Heavy whipping cream- 1/2 cup
- Salted butter- 2 tbsp
- Vanilla essence- 1/2 tsp
- Powdered sugar- 2 tbsp
Method:
- Whip the cream until it’s frothy. Once it is frothy, add in vanilla essence and powdered sugar. Then, whip until stiff peaks. Refrigerate it for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Take the oreo cookies and blend them until they’re coarse in texture and sand-like. After that, add in butter and blend it with the crushed oreo cookies until it is all crumbled and the butter is well combined.
- Now, take a square pan (I used 5×5 inch square pan), cover it with cling film and add in the oreo crumbles, leaving a 1/3rd portion of the oreo crumbles behind for later and even them with the help of a glass. Refrigerate it for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Fold the oreo crumbles which we saved from earlier in the whipped cream.
- Take out the square pan from the refrigerator and add in the whipped cream over the oreo crust. Flatten the whipped cream with a spatula to make sure it’s even. Let is chill for an hour or two.
- After it is chilled, lift the cling film gently and transfer it to a plate. Cut it into small squares and drizzle some chocolate syrup.
