Masala corns are a quick and healthy snack. These are especially good to enjoy the rainy days. Spicy, sweet and tangy at the same time, these masala corns are loved by everyone.
Since it was raining very heavily yesterday, I made these and it took me not more than 15 minutes. Also, if you try this recipe, send me your feedback on my facebook page.
Ingredients:
- Sweet corn kernels- 3/4 cup
- Butter- 1/2 tbsp
- Red chilli powder- 1 tsp
- Chaat masala- 1 tsp
- Lemon juice- 3/4 tsp
Method:
- Firstly, make sure to wash the corn kernels beforehand if they are frozen.
- Take a pan, add the corn kernels and 3/4 cup of water. Let it boil on medium- high flame with a plate over the pan until all the water has evaporated, leaving behind soft, cooked corn kernels.
- After the corns are cooked and all the water has evaporated, switch off the flame.
- Then, add in butter, red chilli powder, chaat masala and mix it very well.
- Finally, add the lemon juice and mix the kernels well. Enjoy your warm snack 🙂
