I made this the other day, for breakfast. Something sweet for breakfast is always good and especially, if it’s a natural sweet. This is a healthy version of parfait where I replaced cream with yoghurt. I loved it.
You can prepare this in a minute, when you’re late for work or too lazy to cook something. You can customize the flavours, fruits and granola with what you like. Here, I used blueberry & raspberry yoghurt, kiwis and pineapple. But you may use mangoes, apples, strawberry or bananas. Just use whatever fruit you like, everything would go very well.
Ingredients:
- Raspberry yoghurt
- Blueberry yoghurt
- Diced pineapple
- Sliced kiwi (removed skin)
- Granola/ Muesli ( I used Muesli because it has added nuts but you can add nuts by yourself too)
Method:
- Take a glass for serving, make sure it is not too broad otherwise the layers won’t be thick enough to be differentiated. Make a layer of blueberry yoghurt and then add in the muesli. Muesli would also help in keeping the layers of yoghurt separate and make sure they don’t merge. Add the raspberry yoghurt over the muesli.
- Layer the sliced kiwi on the top most layer and then add diced pineapples on the sides to cover up all the yoghurt. Place the fruits gently so that they don’t seep in. That’s it! Your fruit & yoghurt parfait is ready.
