Just had these delicious eggless banana pancakes for breakfast. They are something nice to eat for busy mornings since they are quite simple to make. This is an eggless pancake recipe which is a big plus point because most pancake recipes are with egg.
Even people who don’t consume eggs can enjoy this yummy treat! I will soon post a vegan pancake recipe too.
You can also add in chocolate chips or raisins to add even more taste to it. You’ll love it either ways, I promise.
If you try this, send me a picture of it and tell me how it turned out for you. Now, let’s get on to the eggless pancakes recipe.
Ingredients:
(Makes 3 to 4 pancakes)
- Banana- 1 (ripe)
- Vanilla extract- 1/2 tsp
- Powdered sugar- 1 or 2 tbsp (according to taste)
- Baking powder- 1/2 tsp
- Milk- 7 tbsp
- Flour- 1/2 cup
- Butter- for frying the pancakes and for topping them
- Honey- for topping
Method to Prepare Eggless Banana Pancakes:
- Take a peeled, ripe banana in a bowl and mash it with a fork. Add in vanilla extract and mix it.
- Add in flour and sugar and mix it a little. Then, add in baking powder and milk.
- Mix everything together until it forms a smooth batter (the banana won’t be completely smooth, don’t worry)
- Then, take a pan and let the butter melt. Pour some batter in the middle of the pan.
- Cook for 1 minute or so on one side on medium flame until bubbles start appearing on the top.
- When the bubbles appear, it’s time to flip the pancake.
- After they’re done, put a small cube of butter on the top and drizzle some honey.
IMPORTANT: Do not spread the batter on the pan, the batter will spread itself.
