Crepes are more like flatter version of cakes with your favourite fillings inside. The ingredients are almost common. Even though they taste the same to some extent, crepes are a lot easier and mess free to make.
You can have these for breakfast like I do or as a dessert. This is the first crepe recipe on this blog and I’ve started with apple- cinnamon and I really want to try strawberry, banana, kiwi and a lot more in future. And, who can forget nutella crepes? 😀 They are all coming very soon on this blog!
I hope you’ll like these as much as I did. I actually adore the apple- cinnamon combo a lot. This crepe filling tasted even better than nutella. No kidding. And, it smelt heavenly too!

- Apple- 1 sliced
- Vegetable/ Olive oil- 1/2 tbsp

Method-
For the Apple- Cinnamon filling-
For Crepes-
- Take a bowl and add flour, powdered sugar, baking powder, vanilla extract, oil, condensed milk and milk. Mix all the ingredients well until a smooth, thin batter is formed of the consistency shown below in the picture. You can add or reduce the amount of milk until you get the right consistency. [Tip- Add little milk first, then mix it well and then add more. Never add all the milk at once]
- Take a bowl and add all the sliced apples, granulated sugar and cinnamon. Combine them well so that each slice is covered with sugar and cinnamon. Then microwave the mix for 2 minutes on highest power level.
- Then take a non stick pan and add butter to it. Spread the butter evenly with a spatula and pour the batter over it and let it spread as far as it can. Let it cook on medium flame and then flip it. After it’s cooked well on both the sides, take it off the pan and add the apple filling, leaving behind some liquid from the filling.
- Roll the crepe and pour the liquid we saved from the filling over it. Then, dust some powdered sugar on the top and it’s ready to serve!
