Chocolate milkshake recipe with a step by step video- It’s an easy drink to prepare to grab something for the go. This is more like the Starbucks chocolate chip frappuccino, but cheaper.
It’s a really basic recipe but I still wanted to post it for you all. This is chocolate milkshake without ice cream – it’s actually chocolate milkshake with cocoa powder. This is not like those watery milkshakes- like you get at the fancy cafes, filled with ice. It is a thick chocolate milkshake recipe- it has a perfect consistency. You can always add ice but I didn’t. I have made chocolate milkshakes other ways too but I feel like this is the best chocolate milkshake recipe amongst those.
Ingredients:
- Milk- 2 cups (which made one glass)
- Cocoa powder- 1 tbsp
- Powdered sugar- 2 to 3 tbsp
- Chocolate syrup- 1 tsp + some for decorating the glass
- Chocolate chips- for topping
- Whipped cream- for topping
Method to prepare chocolate chip frappuccino/ chocolate milkshake:
- First, take a glass and decorate the inside with some chocolate syrup. Place the glass in the freezer for about 5 to 10 minutes to set.
- Then, take a tbsp of milk and add cocoa powder to it. Mix it to form a smooth paste. Then take milk in a blender and add the cocoa powder paste to it. Add sugar and chocolate syrup. Blend it all together.
- Pour the chocolate frap in your glass. Top it off with some whipped cream and sprinkle some chocolate chips over the whipped cream. Your chocolate frappuccino is ready to be served.
