I tried this carrot cream sandwich recipe one morning and it is quite easy to prepare while you’re in a hurry. It is a life-saver breakfast recipe. Not only is it quick to prepare, also it is comes out really delicious. I’m not that fond of carrots but I can still eat this sandwich any day because it was delicious.
I have been living on sandwiches lately and I’ve many more sandwich recipes piled up to post. This is like the 3rd sandwich recipe on this blog. This carrot sandwich is very creamy (because of the cheese and cream that we will add) and the carrot in it enhances the flavours even more because they’re kind of sweet, even though they don’t taste sweet in the sandwich. Also, I’ll try a whole wheat bread recipe and post it because that way I can try out many more sandwich recipes without the guilt of eating a lot of flour, because the brown bread we buy at market contains a significant amount of flour, which is not very good for health.

Cheesy Grilled Pizza Sandwich
Ingredients:
- Bread Slices- 4
- Grated Carrot- (I used a small carrot which gave approx 1/4 cup of grated carrot)
- Grated Cheese- 6 tbsp
- Salt- as per taste
- Black Pepper- as per taste
- Oregano- as per taste
- Cream or Malai- 2 tbsp
- Butter- 2 tsp
- Finely Chopped Onions- (chop 1/2 a small onion)
- Pizza & Pasta Sauce- to spread on the slices
Recipe
- Take the 4 bread slices and spread some pizza sauce on any two of them.
- Then, in a separate bowl, take the grated carrot and chopped onions. Add in salt, pepper, oregano and cream. Mix all the ingredients well in the bowl.
- Take the bread slices with the pizza sauce and add in equal proportions of the carrot-onion mixture.
- Add on some grated cheese on top of both the slices. Top off both the slices with the other two slices to make a sandwich.
- Take some butter and spread it on the hot sandwich maker so that it melts or you can use melted butter so that you don’t need to preheat the sandwich maker. Keep the sandwiches on the sandwich maker and spread some butter on the top as well (I broke the butter into tiny pieces and placed them on the top of the slices because I was too lazy to melt them).
- Grill them until both the sides are golden brown and then cut them diagonally or as you prefer and you’ll see the cheese oozing out of the sandwiches.
Enjoy your Carrot Cream Sandwich!
