It’s getting colder here so I thought I must post a cold coffee recipe before my mom restricts me from drinking cold drinks. Yeah, that happens! This post could’ve been easier with a step by step pictures recipe but I still filmed a video because a viewer on Youtube requested this recipe.
I guess a video for this recipe would work fine too for someone who wants to try this cold coffee recipe. It is a simple recipe yet makes a yummy, frothy cold coffee without taking too much time.
This tastes exactly like the coffee you get at cafes and restaurants. I haven’t even used ice cream in this recipe which some people do but it still came out super creamy. Also, I used instant coffee powder in this recipe.
I will soon add a recipe on how to make cold coffee with ice cream as well.
Iced coffee is always a good option, irrespective of the weather, at least for me. Before we jump on to November, I’m gonna post recipes for some Starbucks lattes because they’re delicious, despite the fact that I have had those only a few times in my life until now. Other than that am gonna post two other cold coffee recipes too. This is the simplest cold coffee recipe out of them all so I thought why not start with this one first.
Also, I do not count any state of water as an ingredient… hehe 😛
Here you go with the step by step recipe for the creamy, frothy cold coffee.

Ingredients: {1 mason jar/ 2 small glasses}
- Milk- 1+1/2 cups
- Instant coffee powder- 1/2 tbsp
- Sugar- 3 tbsp
- Ice cubes- 4 to 5
- Water- 1/4 cup
Recipe for Iced Coffee:
- Take a microwave safe bowl, add in water, coffee powder and sugar. Microwave for 20 to 30 seconds and then stir it to form a homogenous solution. If some sugar is left undissolved, don’t worry, we’ll blend it later.
- Then, transfer the solution to a blender and add ice cubes and milk. Blend everything for 20 to 30 seconds or until frothy and creamy on the top.
- Pour the creamy/ frothy cold coffee in a glass and serve chilled.
Note:
- You can adjust the sugar according to your liking. If you have powdered sugar at hand, that would be better to add but you might need to add that more than normal sugar.
