I was waiting to make mango lemonade ever since the mango season started. I love mangoes and lemonade so it was a good idea to combine the both and make a mango lemonade. This was sweet, tangy and minty. A refreshing summer drink recipe.
If you’re bored of drinking the basic lemonade daily, try this out and store it in the fridge so that you can have it anytime you want to.
So, when life gives you lemons and it is summer, then make some mango lemonade

Ingredients:
(Serves: 4 to 5 glasses)
- Ripe, peeled mango- 1
- Lemon juice- 1/3 cup
- Sugar- 1/2 cup
- Water- 1 cup
- Fresh mint leaves- 8 to 10
- Cold water- 5 cups
Method:
Take a heavy bottom pan, add in sugar and water. Boil them to form a syrup with one string consistency (it should not be too thick). Then, let it cool at room temperature.
Then, in a bowl squeeze in the lemon juice and keep it aside.
In a blender, take in the ripe mango pulp and blend it to form a puree. After that, add in the mint leaves and blend it again until smooth.
Then, after the sugar syrup is cooled, add it to the pureed mango. Also, add in the lemon juice. Stir everything well.
Keep it in the fridge to cool for about 10 minutes or so. To serve, take a glass with a cup of cold water, add in 4 tbsp of mango syrup and stir well. Serve it immediately or else the mango syrup would settle down at the bottom.
Enjoy with some ice cubes.
NOTE: The mango syrup will be good for about 4 to 5 days when stored in a refrigerator.
