This oreo cake is super easy and quick to make, requires minimal ingredients and is soft and moist. I made this after dinner and it was a great treat to my taste buds. This oreo cake is made in 3 minutes in microwave and the you’ll be needing only 4 ingredients.
You’ll find all the ingredients in your kitchen very easily. And for all the oreo lovers out there, this is gonna be pure heaven for you, so thank me later! You can double or even triple the recipe but then you’ll be at a chance of messing up the timings so in that case I suggest to consider a minute less for every time you double the quantity and then check if it’s baked first with a toothpick and then bake it more if it’s not done.
IMPORTANT: Every microwave has a different power so it may take less or even more time for your cake to fully bake, but that’s easy to check. I suggest everyone to check the cake by pricking in the centre after 2.10 minutes for this particular amount.
Ingredients:
- Oreo cookies- 10
- Granulated sugar- 1+1/2 tbsp
- Baking powder- 1/4 + 1/8 tsp or a little less than 1/2 tsp
- Milk- 1/2 cup
- Oil- for greasing the pan
Method:
- Take the oreo cookies and sugar and blend them until they form a powder.
- Then, transfer the powder to a bowl and add in baking powder and mix well.
- Add in milk and form a smooth batter.
- Take a greased pan (you may add parchment paper for ease) and pour in the batter. Bake it in the microwave for about 3 minutes. Let the cake sit in the microwave for 10 minutes. Then pop it in the fridge for about 10 more minutes.
- After that, loosen the edges with a knife and take out the cake by inverting it on a plate.
